I was nervous before my first appointment, thinking - what if it makes it worse? But Ryan very quickly made me feel at ease. What I loved about his approach was that it felt like something magical was going to happen, and it did. But he's completely normal, sound and down to earth. For something that's very out of this world, he's very grounded. I instantly felt comfortable.
What western medicine does is try to stick a plaster over it. Ryan actually did some deep work - exploring the roots and driving force behind these health conditions.
I do laugh because at one point he got an axe out to cut some cords, and I thought to myself - I'm in a shaman's back garden in Oldbury with an axe. If this is how I meet my end, it's quite a story! But obviously that didn't happen, and that session was so powerful that I felt very drawn to do more work with Ryan.
Going Deeper
I joined various ceremonies and retreats, and through the work, something much deeper began to surface than the migraines and the vertigo. It started the process of letting out the grief about not having children - something I never, ever thought I'd be able to get past.
Through the ceremonies, I don't feel that sense of lack any more. That was something I never ever thought would be possible. It was huge.
The work was really deep, personal, transformative stuff. It enhanced what I already had in terms of appreciating nature more. I was already doing yoga and meditation, so I'd started that journey, but through Ryan's work and his perspective, I became even more immersed in it all - the universe, trusting flow.
It also gave me the confidence to go to other ceremonies. I've been to ceremonies in Mexico, in Peru, and it all absolutely came from the work with Ryan.
A Message for the Sceptics
To anybody who is sceptical, I would say go and experience it first before having that opinion. I would be very surprised if somebody didn't have a strong, powerful experience if they're open to it. Ryan is very special in his offerings and his style. I would encourage anybody and everybody to be open to the power of this work and how it can really enhance your life and bring out the beauty of it even more.
